1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RailAround via our website or mobile applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Subscriptions & Pro Features

RailAround Pro offers premium features including: Up to 100x simulation speed, support for displaying up to 10 lines/stations simultaneously, custom line colors & styles, and dynamic journey playback.

Cross-Platform Access: Pro status is synchronized across Web, iOS, and Android platforms via your unified RailAround account.

3. Auto-Renewable Subscription Terms

The Service offers auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and yearly) and a one-time purchase (Lifetime Pro).

Subscription Period: 1 month / 1 year.

Price: $2.99/month, $19.99/year. Prices may vary by region and tax regulations.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID or Google account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Cancellation: How you cancel depends on your purchase channel:

• Web purchases (Paddle): Log in to your RailAround account and cancel auto-renewal in the "Subscription Management" page.

• Apple App Store purchases: Turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings.

• Google Play purchases: Turn off auto-renewal in your Google account settings.

After cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current period, and no partial refunds will be provided.

4. Refund Policy

Refunds are handled based on the purchase channel:

• Apple App Store: Processed by Apple. Request a refund at https://reportaproblem.apple.com

• Google Play: Processed by Google. Request a refund via your Google Play order history.

• Web purchases (Paddle): Processed by us. Please contact us at [email protected] with your order number within 14 days of purchase.

5. Price Changes

If we need to adjust subscription prices in the future, we will notify you in advance via email or in-app notice.

If a price change affects your subscription, you may continue at your current price until the end of your current period, and decide whether to accept the new price before renewal.

6. Merchant of Record & Payments

Web Purchases: Our order process for web transactions is conducted by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Paddle is the authorized reseller and provides all customer service and handles returns for these payments.

App Purchases: Payments made within our iOS or Android applications are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms.

7. User Responsibilities & Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your RailAround account, including safeguarding your login credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access, please contact us immediately.

You agree not to use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

8. Data Accuracy

The Service is provided 'as is' for simulation and entertainment purposes. While we strive for precision, RailAround is not a real-time navigation tool and we are not liable for travel disruptions based on our data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RailAround and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Service.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from these Terms of Service shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to a neutral arbitration body.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated 'Last Updated' date. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notice.
